Advanced Permissions

There are several possible useful setups for the bot based on the permissions given

users are forced to use any command requiring passwords in the "admin" channel. This is meant to reduce accidental password exposure to other users.

Purpose

You want the bot in your server, but sadly it won't do anything except let you use the /help command. Looks v cute though

⚔️The Swordsman

Permissions

• Send Messages

• Manage Messages

• Embed Links

• Read Message History

Purpose

En garde! You hate all links and Good Knight will cast them back into the fiery chasm from whence it came. Activate anti-link and Good Knight will delete any link posted in a channel with these permissions.

Purpose

You don't care about anti-link or moderation but you want to sing using the /post command's embedded messages feature. To be, or not to be: that is the question!

⚒️ The Blacksmith

Permissions

• Kick Members

• Ban Members

• Read Messages

• Send Messages

• Embed Links

• Read Message History

Purpose

Here comes the hammer! You don't care about links or posting messages, but you want to password protect your moderator commands. As a blacksmith uses heat to temper steel, so should a trial by fire strengthen one's mettle.

Purpose

Good Knight can be setup, mods can use passwords, links/channels can be registered, users can be moderated, and mass mentions can be locked down. Main functionality is enabled in any channel with these permissions. Your Good Knight squire has many of the weapons you need!

Purpose

Recommended setup. Full protection! Good Knight can delete links from any channel, even ones created by a malicious actor.
